Aunt Cathy you will be missed greatly. I will never forget the love and kindness that showed me all through my life. All the weekends you and uncle Jimmy would keep all five of us. All the candy and the telephone book findings, I will never forget! I still remember the time you took us downtown on the city bus. Thank you so much Aunt Cathy see ya in Heaven.

- Sheila, Savannah, Ga

I remember as a child Aunt Cathy and Uncle Jimmy keeping us. We always had a good time. It saddens me to know you went so quickly. But I know you are with Jimmy again. I hope you are at peace. You will be truly missed. Love you Angela

Cathy was a valued employee at Chick-fil-A for a number of years. She was more than an employee, she was a friend. She never forgot others. She loved to read and would exchange books with Sharon. Her loyalty and love for her husband was extraordinary. She took care of him during his long illness and did everything she could do to help him be comfortable. She will be missed by her family and friends but she will not be forgotten.

- Richard & Sharon Parkman, Hiawassee, Ga

Growing up, it was Mom and Dad and it was Jimmy and Cathy. They were my "second parents". I learned to ride a bike, without training wheels, in the paint store parking lot across the street from their house. I learned to be afraid of spiders because of what lived in their attic. I learned how to use public transportation because of Cathy. We would walk from her house on 32nd St to Forsyth Park and play for a few hours. Then we would be too tired to walk back, so we took the CAT in time to meet Jimmy coming home. I had an easy and terrific childhood and Cathy's part will never be forgotten. She was always so proud of me. Later in life, as an adult, we didn't see each other so often, but she always smiled so big when she saw me. I will miss her always.
